Community-driven nutritional disparities mitigation model in Thailand

Thanatchaporn Mulikaburt is a lecturer and researcher at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand. She is studying for a Ph.D program (Epidemiology). She graduated with a master's degree in public health (nutrition) from Mahidol University and has spent five years teaching and researching public health nutrition in low-income and hill-tribe groups in Northern Thailand, particularly the Akha and Lahu tribes. She and her team have built strong relationships with key stakeholders in the community.

Thanatchaporn Mulikaburt is resolute in developing and forming a foundation for empowering communities to improve their health through collaborative, culturally sensitive approaches to food security and nutritional parity. She also promotes Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2, 3, 10) by improving local food systems and addressing malnutrition sustainably.
