WISPAD Network Project
The WISPAD network project is a conscious attempt to galvanize efforts of women and men working in and around the field of peace, security, and diplomacy in improving the level of women’s participation and representation in conflict prevention, peace building, diplomatic and mediation processes while protecting their rights and human security. It is a response to the achievement of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda as stated in United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and implementation of the National Action Plan on Women? in Nigeria. Additionally, the project is an attempt to promote, build and network the interests of more women to project their voices for the protection of women and girls across Nigeria.
