Creating evaluation framework to improve ecosystem of Seychelle Islands

Venessa is developing a localised and customised monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework and system to improve tracking and reporting of the SDGs in Seychelles. Venessa's work focuses on strengthening data collection systems by providing training, identifying critical gaps, and improving data accessibility to support Seychelles’ development goals. Her efforts have contributed to more effective tracking and reporting of key indicators, ultimately enabling informed decision-making and optimized resource allocation. By addressing weaknesses in data collection processes, her work ensures that development strategies are built on accurate, reliable and actionable information. As she moves beyond the fellowship, her goal is to develop a comprehensive M & E framework that further institutionalises and enhances data-driven policy development.
